Kathy began her career as a tax accountant and Enrolled Agent (EA) with the Sacramento firm of William Toms Accountancy Corp, CPA in 1982. She sharpened her skills as a high net worth client, business taxation and estate specialist.
After earning her Enrolled Agents (EA) designation in 1982 from The United States Treasury, she has continued her education and business pursuits. Moving to Alaska permanently, Aurora Taxes was opened in 1997. Kathy has been a designated QuickBooks Professional Adviser and Notary Public since 1998.
Kathy is active in a number of professional organizations including the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), Alaska Society of Independent accountants (ASIA), National Association of Accountants (NSA), along with Membership in the Anchor Point Chamber of Commerce. She is the President for the Anchor Point Safe Water Utility.

Brittany Briggs currently serves on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Fidelity Financial Services, Inc. Brittany has over 20 years’ experience as a tax preparer in addition to leveraging her other duties as office manager and supervisor.
As a professional tax preparer, Brittany can assist individuals, estates, and businesses with their tax-return preparation and tax-planning needs. As a participant in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program, Brittany has completed the annual tax update education requirements and can represent clients whose returns she has prepared. Brittany is also proficient in the industry’s latest accounting methods and operations.
Brittany is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Alaska and an active member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners.
Tax Preparer, Quick Books Pro Advisor
Emily joined our team in 2015 and has since expanded her knowledge base tremendously. She is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is responsible for bookkeeping & payroll in addition to assisting with tax preparation and filling in elsewhere around the office as needed.
New to Fidelity in 2019, Lizzie comes to us with over 7 years’ experience in customer service. As an Administrative Assistant for the Kenai office, Lizzie will assist with scheduling, client document intake, updating and maintaining, answer general questions, and client check-out.
Kim Glidden joined our team in January 2021 with over ten years experience in payroll and bookkeeping. She specialized in construction and commercial contractor accounting, including invoicing and online timekeeping as well as certified payroll. As a payroll specialist, she is responsible for processing our client’s payroll and managing their bookkeeping.
